I have all the wires in my house run for the speakers throughout the walls. I want the receiver to be located in the kitchen. I want to be able to control the home theatre(tv) and the home audio all from the kitchen. Must be able to shut off home theatre and listen to home audio or vice versa. Thank you!

I am thinking of getting a new home audio system, and I was wondering what I should look for in the impedance of my reciever’s output and speakers.

I know it’s measured in Ohms, usually 4,6, or 8, but which would give the best perfomance? I’m looking for the most accurate audio reproduction.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I’m not looking to spend over $600 for the system. The best impedance rating withing this budget…

So i have two home audio receivers one is a sony 120 watt and one is a sony 320 watt. can i connect them together so i can get basically one receiver that has 440 watts and more speaker inputs?
would something like this work?
i use the higher wattage receiver to power my subs and use a stereo switch to connect that receiver to my other one that is powering my speakers?

i got into a car crash and everything was pretty much done for except for the subwoofers, the boxes they were in got kinda beat up though, and so i was wondering what i could use to power them so i could use them in my home audio stereo? i have a 150 watt receiver pushing 2 speakers already, so they is basically used up, and ideas on what i can use?
